Policies and Reminders

In efforts to have clear understanding and a great experience, please read the following:

    • I do not accept DMs for booking. This often times leads to confusion for both parties due to missed crucial information.

    • To request an appointment, please visit the “Book Now” button, this will redirect you to a form which will gather all the information I need from you. Please fill this out fully with as much detail as possible.

    • I only book for the current and following month at any given time.

    • Filling out a booking form does not guarantee an appointment. It is possible that I may not feel as though I can properly execute your tattoo in the way that you request. I will therefore try my best to refer you to a reputable artist I feel would be more aligned.

    • Unless otherwise stated (flash posted with flat pricing, events, etc.), I charge an hourly rate of $150. This time starts when I start tattooing.

    • If under an hour, my minimum pricing is $100.

    • The budget submitted with your booking form gives me an idea of how much wiggle room I have when it comes to creating a design. I schedule sessions for the absolute most amount of time I will need, which means I do not have an exact idea of the total cost until the details of the design are finalized. I will not charge over the agreed upon budget but will charge up to, so please be honest with how much you are willing to invest.

    Reminder that tattoo pricing is not just for the time you’re in the chair. You’re investing in years of education, training, experience, and the ability to create something permanent on your body with both safety and quality.

    • Deposits are $60 for up to two hour sessions and $100 for 2+ hour sessions.

    • Deposits are due within 24 hours of a deposit link being sent.

    • All deposits are non-refundable. The only exception to this is if I personally need to reschedule and you are unable to do so for any future date.

    • Deposits can be transferred once with a 48+ hour notice. If a second reschedule is needed, another deposit must be made.

    • Deposits go toward the total cost of the tattoo except in the case of guest spots in which the deposit goes toward the cost of travel + board.

    • The remaining cost is due at the end of the session, preferably in cash due to card processing fees.

    • If card must be used, a 3.3% processing fee will be added to the cost of the tattoo.

    Deposits are put in place to protect both your time and mine. When you book, that time becomes unavailable to other clients, and preparation for your tattoo begins. A no-show or late cancellation may result in an inability to fill that scheduled time with another appointment and a loss of income.

    • Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to complete paperwork.

    • There is a 15 minute grace period, an arrival past this time is subject to being rescheduled and a loss of deposit.

    • A valid photo ID is required for me to be able to tattoo you, I cannot accept photos of IDs.

    • I do not allow numbing cream, this affects the tattooing process and can lead to improper healing.

    • Please wear clothing that allows me access to the tattoo area, if you have any questions on what to wear feel free to ask! Consider wearing black or neutral clothing if possible so your photos look the best they can.

    • Please inform me of any conditions that may concern your safety or mine prior to the start of your appointment.

    • If upon arrival the tattoo area is irritated or broken I cannot tattoo it, this includes sunburns.

    • After completion of the tattoo I will verbally go over and give written aftercare instructions. Failure to follow these instructions can result in improper healing and, in extreme cases, infection.

    • Negligence of aftercare (going swimming, high UV sun exposure, etc.) will result in the forfeit of a complimentary touch-up.

    • A complimentary touch up is only offered between 2-6 months after the tattoo is completed.

    • I do not send designs prior to appointments. This is to protect my work and deter clients from taking my designs to other artists.

    • Minor revisions can be made at the start of the appointment, if major changes must be made the appointment is subject to being rescheduled. Please keep in mind that major changes may impact pricing and will be discussed if needed.

    • When it comes to design, allowing me to have artistic freedom will result in the best work I can give you.

    • Unless otherwise stated, all flash designs are repeatable up to two times.

    • Clients may not upload my work to to AI platforms to “recreate”, alter, or generate similar designs.

    • I do not accept AI generated designs.

  • I reserve the right to refuse service at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to:

    • Anyone under the age of 18 regardless of parental consent.

    • Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

    • Clients displaying disrespectful, inappropriate, or aggressive behavior.

    • Inappropriate or discriminatory requests or subject matter.

    • Medical or skin conditions that make tattooing unsafe.

    • And while honest feedback is always welcome and appreciated. Clients who publicly (including on social media, review platforms, or direct messages) make false statements, defamatory remarks, or intentionally misleading claims will not be tolerated.

    • All booking inquiries must be submitted through the designated booking method stated under “booking”.

    • I am only guaranteed to receive communication emailed to taylorbrookstattoos@gmail.com

    • Please allow up to 72 hours for a response to booking requests. In effort to maintain work-life balance, messages are only answered during business hours (Tue-Sat). Please check Instagram for any other personal reasonings for delay in response time.

    • If in case of emergency that results in the need to reschedule or cancel, I may text or call you for efficient communication. Please be respectful of this access to information. Which means, please do not give my number to anyone or use my number to communicate regarding personal or tattooing matters outside of the current situation.
